The Opportunity:

A school is seeking a Mathematics Teacher to join its Senior School team. This role offers the opportunity to inspire and educate students at KS3, KS4, and A-Level, while contributing to a dynamic and supportive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality, engaging Mathematics lessons across KS3, KS4, and A-Level.
  • Develop and implement innovative teaching strategies that align with current educational standards.
  • Support the school’s extra-curricular programme and contribute to wider school life.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a consistent and effective approach to teaching and learning.
  • Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback to support continuous improvement.
  • Participate in professional development and training opportunities.
  • Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and achievement.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in Mathematics for the appropriate age range.
  • Experience teaching Mathematics at KS3 and KS4, with the ability to teach A-Level.
  • Strong knowledge of current teaching and learning methodologies.
  • Commitment to raising standards and promoting student achievement.

Preferred

  • Experience in an independent or innovative educational setting.
  • Experience with extra-curricular activities or leadership roles within a school.
  • Familiarity with co-ordinated education models.
