Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage computing programmes across the school’s curriculum.
- Deliver high-quality teaching and learning experiences to students.
- Support and contribute to the recruitment and admissions process.
- Stay up to date with current trends and developments in computing education.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement innovative teaching strategies.
- Monitor and evaluate student progress and achievement.
- Participate in the ongoing professional development of staff and students.
- Promote the school’s values and mission through teaching and leadership.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- A recognised teaching qualification.
- A degree or equivalent level qualification in Computing.
- Experience in Further and Higher Education.
- Knowledge of current issues in computing education.
- Enthusiasm for the role of higher education in student development.
Preferred
- Experience in curriculum leadership or programme management.
- Experience with teaching and assessing students at various levels.
- Familiarity with innovative teaching technologies and resources.
- Strong communication and leadership skills.
