Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage computing programmes across the school’s curriculum.
  • Deliver high-quality teaching and learning experiences to students.
  • Support and contribute to the recruitment and admissions process.
  • Stay up to date with current trends and developments in computing education.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement innovative teaching strategies.
  • Monitor and evaluate student progress and achievement.
  • Participate in the ongoing professional development of staff and students.
  • Promote the school’s values and mission through teaching and leadership.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • A recognised teaching qualification.
  • A degree or equivalent level qualification in Computing.
  • Experience in Further and Higher Education.
  • Knowledge of current issues in computing education.
  • Enthusiasm for the role of higher education in student development.

Preferred

  • Experience in curriculum leadership or programme management.
  • Experience with teaching and assessing students at various levels.
  • Familiarity with innovative teaching technologies and resources.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills.
