The Opportunity:
As an Exams Coordinator, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth running of the school’s examination processes. You will coordinate and implement examination procedures in line with regulatory standards, working closely with the Exams Officer and other departments to maintain the integrity and efficiency of the exams process.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and implement examination procedures in line with JCQ and awarding body regulations.
- Liaise with awarding bodies on registration, entries, and results.
- Ensure secure preparation, storage, and distribution of all exam materials.
- Manage communication with internal and external stakeholders.
- Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with GDPR and safeguarding requirements.
- Support the Exams Officer and wider College divisions with administrative tasks.
- Prioritise workloads and meet deadlines efficiently.
- Contribute to the overall success of the examination process.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- At least four GCSEs (including English).
- NVQ Level 3 in Business Administration or equivalent.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office and other administrative systems.
- Excellent organisational, communication, and data-handling skills.
- Ability to prioritise workloads and meet deadlines.
- Commitment to confidentiality, GDPR compliance, and safeguarding responsibilities.
Preferred
- Experience in an educational or administrative role.
- Familiarity with JCQ and awarding body regulations.
- Experience with exam coordination or similar responsibilities.
- Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
