The Opportunity:

As an Exams Coordinator, you will play a key role in supporting the smooth running of examinations across the institution. You will ensure compliance with JCQ and awarding body regulations, manage exam materials, and liaise with external bodies to maintain the integrity of the examination process.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and implement examination procedures in line with JCQ and awarding body regulations.
  • Liaise with awarding bodies on student registrations, entries, and results.
  • Ensure all exam materials are securely prepared, stored, and distributed.
  • Maintain accurate records and manage data in line with GDPR and safeguarding requirements.
  • Support the Exams Officer and wider College divisions with administrative tasks.
  • Prioritise workloads and meet deadlines efficiently.
  • Promote a culture of confidentiality and compliance within the Exams Department.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • At least four GCSEs (including English).
  • NVQ Level 3 in Business Administration or equivalent.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office and administrative systems.
  • Excellent organisational, communication, and data-handling skills.
  • Commitment to confidentiality, GDPR compliance, and safeguarding responsibilities.

Preferred

  • Experience in an educational or administrative role.
  • Familiarity with examination procedures and awarding body requirements.
  • Demonstrated ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
