The Opportunity:
As a Programme Leader in Electrical Installation, you will lead and inspire a team to deliver high-quality education and training across a range of programs. You will play a key role in ensuring student achievement, retention, and the continued success of the Division of Construction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the Electrical Installation program to ensure it meets high standards of teaching and learning.
- Work closely with Curriculum Managers and other Program Leaders to support the development and delivery of programs.
- Deliver teaching and learning up to 832 hours per year, aligned with subject specialism and industry standards.
- Support the improvement of quality and success rates across the Electrical Installation provision.
- Stay informed on current issues in Electrical Installation and ensure they are reflected in the curriculum.
- Contribute to the development of work-based learning and qualification specifications.
- Promote a culture of excellence and continuous improvement within the team.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- A relevant degree in a subject related to Electrical Installation.
- Experience in teaching or training, with a commitment to student achievement and success.
- Ability to deliver high-quality education and training up to Advanced level.
Preferred
- A PGCE or Certificate in Education, or willingness to pursue a teaching qualification through the Staff Development programme.
- Experience in work-based learning and full-time and part-time qualification specifications.
- Knowledge of current industry trends and developments in Electrical Installation.
