Key Responsibilities:

  • Support students in overcoming barriers to learning through effective intervention and pastoral care.

  • Participate in the broader school community, contributing to extracurricular activities and partnerships.
  • Champion the school's values, ensuring that all students are supported to reach their full potential.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends and technological advancements in computing education.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified teacher with relevant experience in computing education.
  • Strong knowledge of current computing curriculum and teaching methodologies.
  • Proven ability to deliver high-quality lessons and support student learning.
  • Commitment to inclusion, equality, and student well-being.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team.

Preferred

  • Experience in leading or mentoring other teachers.
  • Familiarity with industry partnerships and external organizations.
  • Experience with teaching English as a second language.
  • Background in technology or computer science.
