Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality, engaging Maths lessons that challenge and inspire students.
• Plan and develop innovative teaching resources and schemes of work.
• Support student learning through differentiated instruction and effective assessment.
• Monitor and track student progress to ensure continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with colleagues to enhance teaching and learning across the department.
• Participate in professional development and contribute to the wider school community.
• Provide pastoral support and guidance to students where appropriate.
• Stay up to date with current educational trends and best practices in Maths teaching.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• Qualified teacher with a relevant teaching qualification (e.g., QTS).
• Proven experience in teaching Maths at secondary level.
• Strong subject knowledge in Mathematics.
• Ability to create and deliver engaging, challenging lessons.
• Commitment to student progress and achievement.

Preferred

• Experience of teaching across a range of abilities and key stages.
• Experience with inclusive teaching strategies and supporting diverse learners.
• Experience in using technology to enhance teaching and learning.
• Leadership experience or willingness to take on departmental responsibilities.
