Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality, engaging lessons that inspire and challenge students.
  • Plan and develop innovative teaching resources and strategies to support student learning.

  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to enhance teaching and learning across the department.
  • Support the school’s mission by fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Participate in staff development and training initiatives to maintain and improve teaching standards.

  • Contribute to extracurricular activities and events that promote student engagement and school spirit.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified teacher with a relevant teaching qualification (QTS).
  • Experience in teaching Maths at secondary level.
  • Commitment to continuous professional development and student achievement.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively within a team and take responsibility for individual and departmental targets.

Preferred

  • Experience with teaching students of diverse abilities and backgrounds.
  • Experience with using technology to enhance teaching and learning.
  • Experience with curriculum development and assessment strategies.
  • Experience with pastoral care and student support.
