Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality, engaging lessons that inspire and challenge students.
- Plan and implement effective teaching strategies that support student progress and attainment.
- Promote a positive learning environment that encourages curiosity, critical thinking, and independent learning.
- Monitor and assess student performance, providing constructive feedback to support continued improvement.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to share best practices and contribute to the continuous improvement of the school.
- Support the development of students’ character, confidence, and resilience through a holistic approach to education.
- Engage with parents and the wider school community to support student learning and well-being.
- Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching practice and subject knowledge.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified teacher with relevant subject knowledge in Humanities.
- Experience in teaching at secondary level, or willingness to gain experience.
- Commitment to student achievement and a passion for education.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
Preferred
- Experience in delivering high-quality, engaging lessons.
- Experience with curriculum development and assessment strategies.
- Experience with Teaching English as a Second Language.
- Experience in working with diverse student cohorts.

- Competitive salary range from £32,916 to £51,048.
