Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality, engaging lessons that inspire and challenge students.
  • Plan and implement effective teaching strategies that support student progress and attainment.
  • Promote a positive learning environment that encourages curiosity, critical thinking, and independent learning.
  • Monitor and assess student performance, providing constructive feedback to support continued improvement.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to share best practices and contribute to the continuous improvement of the school.
  • Support the development of students’ character, confidence, and resilience through a holistic approach to education.
  • Engage with parents and the wider school community to support student learning and well-being.
  • Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching practice and subject knowledge.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified teacher with relevant subject knowledge in Humanities.
  • Experience in teaching at secondary level, or willingness to gain experience.
  • Commitment to student achievement and a passion for education.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.

Preferred

  • Experience in delivering high-quality, engaging lessons.
  • Experience with curriculum development and assessment strategies.
  • Experience with Teaching English as a Second Language.
  • Experience in working with diverse student cohorts.
