The Opportunity:

We are looking for a motivated and flexible Cover Supervisor to support teaching across various curriculum subjects. This role offers the chance to gain valuable classroom experience while contributing to a positive and inclusive learning environment. The position also includes limited supervision of students in the silent working area.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality cover teaching across a range of subjects
  • Support and assist teaching staff as required
  • Manage student behaviour effectively in the classroom and silent working area
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with students, staff and parents
  • Maintain a safe and productive learning environment
  • Assist with administrative tasks related to cover duties
  • Participate in staff meetings and professional development opportunities
  • Follow the school's policies and procedures at all times

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage student behaviour effectively
  • Willingness to deliver teaching across a range of curriculum subjects
  • Commitment to working in a school environment
  • Flexibility and willingness to work term-time hours

Preferred

  • Previous experience in a school or educational setting
  • Experience in teaching or classroom support
  • Knowledge of different curriculum subjects
  • Experience in supervising students

Compensation & Benefits:

  • Competitive salary within Grade 4 Point 9 - 15
