Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise lessons using pre-prepared work to ensure students remain on task and engaged
  • Manage student behaviour in a positive and effective manner
  • Support teaching and learning across various curriculum areas
  • Provide feedback on student progress and engagement to support staff
  • Assist with classroom resources, displays, and general organisation
  • Support examinations, trips, and enrichment activities
  • Undertake break and lunch duties, as well as other school-related support tasks
  • Collaborate with teachers and support staff to maintain a positive school culture

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Good literacy and numeracy skills
  • Experience working with children or young people
  • Ability to build positive relationships with students and staff
  • Calm, flexible, and organised approach to work
  • Team player with strong communication skills
  • Commitment to safeguarding and inclusion

Preferred

  • Experience in education or working with young people
  • Previous experience in a school or similar setting
  • Knowledge of teaching strategies or learning support techniques
  • Willingness to participate in training and professional development
