The Opportunity:

As a Cover Supervisor, you will support pupils and teaching staff by providing supervision during teacher absences and assisting with administrative duties. Key Responsibilities:

• Support pupils in and out of the classroom during teacher absences.
• Deliver prepared lessons confidently and effectively.
• Supervise whole classes during short-term teacher absences.
• Assist with administrative tasks as required.
• Support breakfast, break, and lunchtime duties within the school.
• Manage challenging behavior in line with the school’s behavior policy.
• Motivate pupils and contribute positively to their educational experience.
• Uphold and promote the school’s Christian ethos and values.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• GCSE in Maths and English (Level 4 and above).
• Relevant Level 3 qualification.
• Confident in using day-to-day IT systems.
• Experience working in a school environment.
• Ability to deliver prepared lessons confidently.
• Commitment to the school’s ethos and values.

Preferred

• Background in teaching English or Maths.
• Experience with behaviour management strategies.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.
• Experience with student welfare and pastoral care.
