Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and develop a high-performing, exam-focused Business and Economics department.
- Teach Economics and support students in understanding modern business and global economic trends.
- Design and implement a relevant, forward-thinking curriculum aligned with current industry practices.
- Model high-quality teaching and provide leadership to ensure strong student outcomes.
- Collaborate with colleagues to refine provision and deliver an engaging, ambitious learning experience.
- Promote research-informed teaching practices and maintain high expectations for all learners.
- Support professional development for staff and students within the subject area.
- Champion inclusive and equitable learning opportunities for all students.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Proven experience in teaching Business and Economics at GCSE and A Level.
- Strong subject knowledge and ability to deliver exam-based courses effectively.
- Experience in curriculum leadership and team collaboration.
- Commitment to student success and high academic standards.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
