Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality, engaging lessons that cater to the diverse needs of students from all ability levels.
- Contribute to the development of the Mathematics curriculum and teaching strategies across the school, including the Prep Department.
- Support the continued success of the department by promoting excellent academic outcomes and student achievement.
- Adapt teaching methods to meet the individual learning needs of students and ensure inclusive education for all.
- Encourage a passion for mathematics in students through creative and innovative teaching practices.
- Participate in departmental meetings, staff training, and wider school events and initiatives.
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and performance.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to enhance the learning experience for all students.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified teacher with relevant experience in Mathematics education.
- Ability to teach Mathematics to GCSE and A Level standards.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to student welfare and the promotion of a positive learning environment.
- Willingness to contribute to the development of the department and school as a whole.
Preferred
- Experience in teaching across a range of key stages.
- Background in working with students of varying abilities and learning needs.
- Experience with innovative teaching methods or technology in the classroom.
- Previous involvement in extracurricular activities or community outreach programmes.
