The Opportunity:

As a Data Coordinator, you will play a key role in ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and accessibility of student and organisational data. You will support data-driven decision-making and provide administrative and planning support within the Information Services department, helping to streamline operations and improve efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide a professional and customer-focused service to students, parents, and staff
  • Process data change requests and apply validation and quality assurance checks
  • Support application and enrolment processes by entering data and setting up systems
  • Lead on incoming application checks, investigate queries, and record outcomes
  • Coordinate communication and the collection, recording, and reporting of HE application and enrolment data
  • Ensure compliance with data management principles and best practices
  • Collaborate with other teams to support data-driven decision-making
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records within Information Services systems

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Experience working in a busy environment with strong organisational and planning skills
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Office, particularly Microsoft Excel
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Commitment to equality, diversity, and safeguarding young people and vulnerable adults
  • Understanding of data management principles and processes

Preferred

  • Experience in data management or information services
  • Familiarity with educational systems and processes
  • Experience with data entry and system setup
  • Knowledge of HE application and enrolment procedures
  • Experience with administrative planning and support
