As a RE and Humanities Teacher, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality education to students at KS3 and KS4. Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and effective lessons in RE and Humanities at KS3 and RE at KS4.
- Develop and implement strategies to raise student attainment and achievement.
- Contribute to the wider academy through collaboration and shared initiatives.
- Support the school’s vision for innovation and excellence in teaching and learning.
- Work closely with colleagues to ensure a consistent and high-quality curriculum.
- Promote positive student behavior and a supportive learning environment.
- Participate in staff development and training programs.
- Engage with the school community and contribute to extracurricular activities.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified teacher with experience in RE and Humanities at KS3 and RE at KS4.
- Strong subject knowledge and a proven track record of raising attainment.
- Commitment to delivering high-quality education and student support.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team.
Preferred
- Experience in developing innovative teaching strategies.
- Experience with curriculum design and assessment.
- Experience in leading or supporting staff development initiatives.
- Experience with Teaching English as a Second Language (TESOL) or similar.
