Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the school with a clear vision, ensuring high standards of teaching and learning.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve student achievement and progress.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive school culture that supports staff and student well-being.
  • Collaborate closely with the Governing Body to ensure alignment with school goals and values.
  • Promote and maintain the school’s strong reputation within the community and wider education sector.
  • Ensure the effective use of resources and the continuous improvement of school operations.
  • Support staff development and professional growth through ongoing training and mentorship.
  • Uphold the school’s values of courage, commitment, and compassion in all aspects of leadership.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Honours Degree or equivalent.
  • PGCE and Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • National Professional Qualification for Headship (NPQH).
  • Recent experience as a Headteacher or Deputy Headteacher.
  • Evidence of significant Continuing Professional Development (CPD) in the last three years.

Preferred

  • Experience in leading school improvement initiatives.
  • Strong track record in raising student attainment and progress.
  • Experience with collaborative working and community engagement.
  • Proven ability to manage and develop high-performing teams.
