The Opportunity:

As a Deputy Headteacher, you will lead learning and pastoral development, support the school’s strategic vision, and contribute to the ongoing success of a school with a thriving, diverse student population aged 3 to 18.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the academic and pastoral development of the school.
• Support the implementation of the school’s vision, mission, and improvement plan.
• Drive excellence in teaching and learning across all year groups.
• Review and develop pastoral systems to ensure smooth transitions between phases.
• Collaborate with the senior leadership team to implement change and provide strong curriculum leadership.
• Develop assessment strategies to ensure student progress is measured effectively.
• Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous learning among staff and students.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• PGCE or B.Ed. and QTS
• Experience in senior leadership within education
• Commitment to student and staff development
• Strong communication and emotional intelligence skills

Preferred

• 2-3 years’ experience in senior leadership roles
• Familiarity with UK-based pedagogical research and practice
• Experience in managing high-performing teams
