Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide strategic leadership and contribute to the development and delivery of the school’s vision and priorities.
  • Lead and develop senior leaders through regular 1-1 meetings and support their professional growth and wellbeing.
  • Oversee curriculum quality and ensure student learning is student-led, with a focus on progress and attainment.
  • Analyse performance data and use insights to design and evaluate improvement strategies.
  • Build and maintain effective partnerships with external stakeholders, including universities and employers.
  • Ensure compliance with safeguarding, equality, diversity, and inclusion policies across all areas of responsibility.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Proven experience in a senior leadership role within education.
  • Strong leadership and management skills with the ability to inspire and motivate teams.
  • Experience in strategic planning and implementation of improvement initiatives.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Commitment to student success and a track record of improving student outcomes.

Preferred

  • Experience in a sixth form or further education setting.
  • Knowledge of data analysis and performance evaluation techniques.
  • Experience in leading curriculum development and student engagement strategies.
  • Familiarity with Gatsby benchmarks and student progression frameworks.
