Design and Technology Teacher required for August 2026 at a leading British curriculum school.

The Opportunity:
A Design and Technology Teacher is needed to inspire and motivate students through a creative and dynamic approach to teaching. This role plays a key part in shaping the future of young learners and supporting their academic and personal development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality Design and Technology lessons to students across all key stages, including A level.
- Develop and implement engaging, innovative teaching strategies that promote creativity and critical thinking.
- Support students in achieving their full potential through differentiated instruction and data-driven assessment.
- Collaborate with colleagues to contribute to the wider curriculum and extra-curricular activities.
- Maintain a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environment for all students.
- Participate in professional development and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Contribute to the safeguarding and pastoral care of students.
- Stay up to date with developments in the field of Design and Technology and incorporate these into teaching practice.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- A good honours degree.
- QTS or PGCE teaching qualification, preferably from the UK.
- Minimum of two years’ experience in teaching.
- Ability to provide an ICPC and a UK enhanced DBS or equivalent police check.
- Commitment to the school’s values, vision, and purpose.
- Willingness to teach Design and Technology through to A level.
Preferred
- Experience teaching other science subjects to KS3 and/or KS4.
- Experience with Teaching English as a Second Language.
- Demonstrated ability to use data to support student learning.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
