The Opportunity:

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated KS2 Class Teacher to join our school on a part-time basis. This role offers the chance to make a meaningful impact on young learners, while contributing to a supportive and inspiring school community.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality, engaging lessons that promote curiosity and creativity in KS2 pupils.
  • Integrate technology and innovative teaching methods to enhance student learning and achievement.
  • Contribute to the pastoral care of students, supporting their emotional and social development.
  • Participate actively in co-curricular activities, including sport, the arts, and other enrichment opportunities.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a cohesive and supportive learning environment.
  • Maintain strong relationships with parents and the wider school community.
  • Uphold the principles of the Harmony Project, promoting a curriculum that connects learning to the natural world.
  • Report any safeguarding concerns promptly to the designated lead.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified teacher with relevant experience in KS2 education.
  • Strong subject knowledge and the ability to deliver creative and engaging lessons.
  • Commitment to safeguarding and child protection.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred

  • Experience with the Harmony Project or similar educational philosophies.
  • Familiarity with using technology to enhance teaching and learning.
  • Involvement in co-curricular or extra-curricular activities.
  • Experience in pastoral care or student support.
