The Opportunity:
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated KS2 Class Teacher to join our school on a part-time basis. This role offers the chance to make a meaningful impact on young learners, while contributing to a supportive and inspiring school community.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality, engaging lessons that promote curiosity and creativity in KS2 pupils.
- Integrate technology and innovative teaching methods to enhance student learning and achievement.
- Contribute to the pastoral care of students, supporting their emotional and social development.
- Participate actively in co-curricular activities, including sport, the arts, and other enrichment opportunities.
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a cohesive and supportive learning environment.
- Maintain strong relationships with parents and the wider school community.
- Uphold the principles of the Harmony Project, promoting a curriculum that connects learning to the natural world.
- Report any safeguarding concerns promptly to the designated lead.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified teacher with relevant experience in KS2 education.
- Strong subject knowledge and the ability to deliver creative and engaging lessons.
- Commitment to safeguarding and child protection.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred
- Experience with the Harmony Project or similar educational philosophies.
- Familiarity with using technology to enhance teaching and learning.
- Involvement in co-curricular or extra-curricular activities.
- Experience in pastoral care or student support.
