The Opportunity:

As a Digital Content Creator, you will bring the vibrant life of a school to digital platforms through engaging visual storytelling. Your work will capture the essence of learning, community, and creativity, helping families and the wider world connect with the school’s unique ethos.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Capture authentic moments of school life through short-form video and photography
  • Create visually engaging Instagram Reels and short videos that reflect the school’s culture
  • Design content that aligns with the school’s philosophy and values
  • Write thoughtful captions and stories to accompany digital posts
  • Document learning journeys, projects, and exhibitions for digital storytelling
  • Manage and grow the school’s social media presence across multiple platforms
  • Schedule and publish content throughout the year, including during school holidays
  • Contribute to blog posts and longer storytelling pieces that highlight the school’s mission
  • Build and maintain a growing visual archive of photographs and video for future use

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Strong visual storytelling skills and a creative eye for photography and video
  • Confidence in filming, editing, and producing short-form digital content
  • Excellent writing and communication skills
  • Ability to plan, organize, and schedule content effectively
  • Comfortable working in a school environment with children and educators
  • Passion for education and childhood development

Preferred

  • Experience with tools such as CapCut, Adobe Premiere, Final Cut, or Canva
  • Background in film, photography, journalism, or social media content creation
  • Understanding of the International Baccalaureate (IB) programme or progressive education models
  • Experience in creating digital content for educational institutions or community organizations
