Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality History lessons across Key Stages 3, 4, and ideally A Level

  • Contribute to the development and delivery of an ambitious and inclusive curriculum
  • Support students in achieving their full potential through personalized guidance and high expectations
  • Participate in co-curricular activities and contribute to the wider life of the school

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified teacher with a strong academic background in History
  • Experience teaching History at Key Stages 3 and 4
  • Commitment to excellence in teaching and learning
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team

Preferred

  • Experience teaching A Level History
  • Familiarity with a “low-tech, high-text” approach to learning
  • Experience with pastoral care and student support
  • Involvement in co-curricular activities
  • Experience working within a Catholic educational setting
