The Opportunity:

As an Events Coordinator, you will be responsible for planning, delivering, and elevating a wide range of events that showcase the school to internal and external audiences. Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, coordinate, and execute a variety of events, ensuring they are seamless and impactful.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to align event goals with the school's mission and values.
  • Manage logistics, budgets, and timelines for all events, from small gatherings to large-scale functions.
  • Develop creative concepts and ideas that enhance the school’s reputation and engagement.
  • Ensure a high standard of service and experience for all attendees, both students and guests.
  • Maintain detailed records and reports on event performance and outcomes.
  • Work closely with the Senior Deputy Head and other departments to support school-wide initiatives.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices in event management.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Proven experience in event planning and coordination.
  • Strong organisational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality results.
  • Experience in a school or educational setting is highly desirable.

Preferred

  • Previous experience in a senior or leadership role within event management.
  • Familiarity with educational institutions and their unique event needs.
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations relevant to event planning.
  • Proficiency in event management software and tools.
