Key Responsibilities:

• Teach Latin and Greek across a range of year groups in the senior school.
• Inspire and support students to reach their academic potential and engage in co-curricular activities related to the classical world.
• Contribute to the development of the Classics Department and the wider school community.
• Deliver lessons that go beyond exam specifications to enrich students’ intellectual experiences.
• Support students through pastoral care and safeguarding responsibilities.
• Participate in professional development and ongoing training opportunities.
• Encourage student involvement in challenges, competitions, and societies related to Classics.
• Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the quality of teaching and learning.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• Excellent subject knowledge in Latin and Greek.
• A strong commitment to inspiring and supporting students.
