The Opportunity:

A school is seeking a Digital Production Engineer to support its Music Department and wider school events. This role involves managing audio equipment, recording and live streaming concerts, and creating digital content. The candidate will contribute to the strategic development of the department and support the school’s creative and educational vision.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and maintain audio equipment and recording studio for the Music Department.
  • Record and live stream concerts, ensuring high-quality digital output.
  • Develop and implement digital content to enhance the school’s online presence and marketing.
  • Advise on software and hardware developments for music and editing technologies.
  • Train and support staff and students in music technology skills.
  • Provide digital production support for Drama, Dance, and other school productions.
  • Collaborate with the Communications team on editing projects and training.
  • Support the wider school community with digital production needs for assemblies, chapel services, and events.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Proven experience in audio production and digital content creation.
  • Strong technical knowledge of sound and recording equipment.
  • Experience in managing and maintaining audio systems.
  • Ability to train and support staff and students in music technology.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.

Preferred

  • Experience in live streaming and video editing.
  • Familiarity with music editing software and hardware.
  • Background in educational or performing arts environments.
  • Experience working within a school or academic institution.
