We are seeking an EYFS Teacher to join a vibrant and nurturing school community. The role involves delivering engaging, child-centred learning that supports high achievement and positive behaviour. Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging, child-centred learning experiences aligned with the EYFS framework and Development Matters.
  • Implement observation-based assessment to support individual learning and development.
  • Deliver inspiring lessons that promote early literacy, phonics, and maths skills.
  • Contribute to the IB PYP and wider curriculum, ensuring a holistic approach to education.
  • Support pupils' academic and pastoral development through positive classroom management and engagement.
  • Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and the wider school community to enhance student outcomes.
  • Participate in co-curricular and school events to enrich the learning experience.
  • Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages curiosity and resilience.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Strong knowledge of the EYFS framework, Development Matters, and observation-based assessment.
  • Experience in early literacy, phonics, and maths teaching.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and students.

Preferred

  • Experience with the IB PYP curriculum.
  • Background in early years education or child development.
  • Experience with pastoral care and student support.
  • Passion for innovation and continuous professional development.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills.
