The Opportunity:

Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a team of six teachers and a language assistant within the Modern Foreign Languages Faculty.
- Oversee the delivery of a comprehensive curriculum, including Pearson Edexcel IGCSE, A Level, and IB courses.
- Implement a school-wide digital strategy and utilise iPad resources to enhance teaching and learning.
- Develop tailored, authentic materials that stimulate curiosity and cultural awareness.
- Support students in achieving the highest standards in communication and preparation for DELE exams.
- Promote bilingual pedagogy by integrating Spanish into teaching history, geography, and culture.
- Guide top linguists toward Modern Languages at Oxbridge and other prestigious institutions.
- Ensure a thriving uptake of Spanish across Key Stage 3, 4, and the Sixth Form.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Proven leadership experience in a senior teaching role.
- Strong subject knowledge in Spanish and a passion for language education.
- Experience in curriculum development and delivery at all key stages.
- Familiarity with international qualifications such as IGCSE, A Level, and IB.
- Commitment to pedagogical innovation and bilingual teaching methods.
Preferred
- Experience with teaching history, geography, and culture through the target language.
- Background in supporting students for DELE exams or Oxbridge applications.
- Experience with digital learning tools and resources.
- Strong record of professional development and research engagement.
