Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality Mathematics lessons to students across key stages.
  • Inspire and motivate students to achieve their full potential in Mathematics.
  • Work collaboratively with the Mathematics Department and wider staff to maintain and enhance educational standards.
  • Support students through pastoral care and participation in co-curricular activities.
  • Develop and implement effective teaching strategies that reflect the school’s values and mission.
  • Communicate effectively with parents and colleagues to support student progress.
  • Lead and manage Mathematics clubs and extracurricular activities.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of the Mathematics curriculum.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified teacher with a relevant degree in Mathematics or a related field.
  • Proven experience in teaching Mathematics at secondary level.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Commitment to student success and pastoral care.

Preferred

  • Experience in leading co-curricular activities or student clubs.
  • Experience with teaching Mathematics to students preparing for GCSE and A level.
  • Familiarity with the UK curriculum and assessment frameworks.
  • Experience in supporting students with diverse learning needs.
