Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality Mathematics lessons to students across key stages.
- Inspire and motivate students to achieve their full potential in Mathematics.
- Work collaboratively with the Mathematics Department and wider staff to maintain and enhance educational standards.
- Support students through pastoral care and participation in co-curricular activities.
- Develop and implement effective teaching strategies that reflect the school’s values and mission.
- Communicate effectively with parents and colleagues to support student progress.
- Lead and manage Mathematics clubs and extracurricular activities.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of the Mathematics curriculum.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified teacher with a relevant degree in Mathematics or a related field.
- Proven experience in teaching Mathematics at secondary level.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
- Commitment to student success and pastoral care.
Preferred
- Experience in leading co-curricular activities or student clubs.
- Experience with teaching Mathematics to students preparing for GCSE and A level.
- Familiarity with the UK curriculum and assessment frameworks.
- Experience in supporting students with diverse learning needs.
