Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality drama lessons across Key Stages 3, 4, and 5, ensuring a strong curriculum and student engagement
• Contribute to the planning, delivery, and assessment of drama courses, including IGCSE and IB Diploma
• Support a vibrant co-curricular programme, including school productions, competitions, and enrichment activities
• Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a cohesive and effective drama curriculum
• Mentor and inspire students, fostering a passion for performance and the arts
• Participate in school events, productions, and enrichment opportunities
• Stay up to date with current developments in drama education and pedagogy
• Contribute to the wider life of the school through leadership and extra-curricular involvement

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• Experience teaching GCSE Drama
• A B.Ed. or degree in a related subject with PGCE / PGDE or equivalent
• Proven track record of outstanding learning and teaching
• Commitment to student achievement and a belief in the potential of all students
• Ability to contribute to the wider life of the school, including productions and co-curricular activities

Preferred

• Experience teaching A Level or IB Drama
• Strong experience in curriculum development and enrichment
• Background in theatre production or performance
