The Opportunity:

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver engaging drama lessons aligned with the curriculum and tailored to student needs.
• Teach acting techniques including improvisation, voice projection, character development, and stage presence.
• Direct and organize school plays, musicals, and other dramatic performances.
• Assess student progress through performances, projects, and written assignments.
• Collaborate with colleagues to integrate drama into cross-curricular projects and events.
• Support extracurricular activities such as drama clubs and after-school programs.
• Engage in continuous professional development to enhance teaching knowledge and skills.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• Bachelor’s (or above) in drama, performing arts, or a related field.
• At least 3 years of relevant work experience in an international school setting.
• Strong performance skills and knowledge in drama, capable of guiding students in acting techniques and stage presence.
• Ability to design and deliver innovative drama curriculum.
• Cross-cultural teaching experience and adaptability to work with students and parents from diverse backgrounds.
• Relevant education certifications such as PGCE or QTS.
• Proficient in computer and modern multimedia teaching methods.

Preferred

• Experience participating in art and performance competitions with outstanding achievements.
• Familiarity with the use of modern multimedia teaching tools and technology.
