Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality, engaging drama lessons that challenge and inspire students.
- Support the development of students’ confidence, creativity, and performance skills.
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the drama curriculum and departmental practices.
- Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback to support learning.
- Participate in the planning and delivery of extracurricular drama activities and events.
- Promote the FAIR values (family, ambition, integrity, and respect) within the school community.
- Contribute to the professional development of the department and wider school.
- Maintain a safe and inclusive learning environment for all students.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified teacher with relevant experience in drama education.
- Strong subject knowledge and passion for drama.
- Experience in delivering creative and engaging lessons.
- Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and support student learning.
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
Preferred
- Experience in working with students of diverse abilities and backgrounds.
- Experience in leading or contributing to extracurricular drama activities.
- Experience in Continuing Professional Development (CPD) or mentoring.
- Familiarity with The Circle Trust and its educational values.
