Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality, engaging drama lessons that challenge and inspire students.
  • Support the development of students’ confidence, creativity, and performance skills.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the drama curriculum and departmental practices.
  • Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback to support learning.
  • Participate in the planning and delivery of extracurricular drama activities and events.
  • Promote the FAIR values (family, ambition, integrity, and respect) within the school community.
  • Contribute to the professional development of the department and wider school.
  • Maintain a safe and inclusive learning environment for all students.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified teacher with relevant experience in drama education.
  • Strong subject knowledge and passion for drama.
  • Experience in delivering creative and engaging lessons.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and support student learning.
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.

Preferred

  • Experience in working with students of diverse abilities and backgrounds.
  • Experience in leading or contributing to extracurricular drama activities.
  • Experience in Continuing Professional Development (CPD) or mentoring.
  • Familiarity with The Circle Trust and its educational values.
