Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality Maths lessons to students across key stages, including A-Level.

  • Collaborate with colleagues to share best practice and enhance departmental performance.
  • Monitor and assess student progress regularly, providing timely and constructive feedback.
  • Contribute to the planning and delivery of the curriculum, including leadership opportunities such as Key Stage 3 Coordinator.
  • Participate in staff development and training initiatives to enhance professional growth.
  • Maintain a safe, inclusive, and motivating learning environment for all students.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified teacher with relevant subject knowledge and experience in teaching Maths.
  • Experience teaching up to A-Level, with the ability to inspire and engage students.
  • Commitment to high academic standards and inclusive education.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team.

Preferred

  • Experience in mentoring or leading a department.
  • Experience with curriculum development or leadership roles.
  • Proven track record of achieving excellent student outcomes.
  • Familiarity with the use of digital tools in teaching and learning.
