Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and innovative drama lessons to students aged 4-13.
  • Develop and implement drama club activities on a weekly basis.
  • Provide 1:1 teaching sessions to support individual student development.
  • Collaborate with other teachers to integrate drama into the broader curriculum.
  • Encourage creativity, confidence, and performance skills in students.
  • Maintain a safe and inclusive learning environment.
  • Participate in school events and extracurricular activities.
  • Support the school’s commitment to safeguarding and child welfare.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified teacher with experience in drama education.
  • Strong knowledge of drama techniques and performance skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a small, close-knit school community.
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
  • DBS clearance or willingness to obtain it.

Preferred

  • Experience working with boys in an independent school setting.
  • Familiarity with the Pre-Senior Baccalaureate or similar programs.
  • Experience in music or the arts.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
