Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and deliver engaging English as an Additional Language lessons tailored to the needs of students.

  • Collaborate with other teachers and support staff to ensure a cohesive and inclusive learning experience for all students.
  • Monitor and assess student progress, providing regular feedback to students and parents.

  • Maintain accurate records and reports on student progress and performance.
  • Stay up to date with best practices in EAL teaching and incorporate innovative strategies into classroom practice.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified teacher with relevant EAL teaching experience.
  • Strong knowledge of English language teaching methodologies and strategies.
  • Proven ability to support students from diverse linguistic and cultural backgrounds.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Commitment to inclusive education and student-centered learning.

Preferred

  • Experience working in an international school environment.
  • Familiarity with the British curriculum and assessment systems.
  • Experience with teaching students across a wide range of ages and abilities.
  • Fluency in additional languages.
  • Experience in developing and implementing EAL support programs.
