The Opportunity:

As an Early Childhood Teacher, you will play a vital role in shaping young minds through a theme-based, hands-on curriculum that fosters curiosity, creativity, and lifelong learning. You will collaborate closely with colleagues to provide a rigorous and engaging educational experience for students in kindergarten through Grade 5.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement a theme-based, hands-on curriculum that promotes curiosity and discovery.
  • Foster meaningful relationships with each student to support personalized learning and academic growth.
  • Collaborate with Subject Expert Teachers and Learning Enhancement Teachers to enhance student engagement and learning outcomes.
  • Guide students in developing academic skills, personal responsibility, and intellectual curiosity.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development and stay informed on the latest educational techniques and best practices.
  • Contribute to a positive, collaborative school community through teamwork and shared leadership.
  • Create a joyful, rigorous learning environment that encourages child-initiated play and exploration.
  • Support the school’s mission by maintaining high academic standards and a culture of excellence.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in your subject area (Elementary and Early Education degrees are also highly valued for Pre-K through Grade 5).
  • At least two years of experience as a lead teacher in a classroom.
  • Commitment to maintaining and enhancing the rigor of international education.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented, high-achieving environment.

Preferred

  • Experience with bilingual education or teaching in international school settings.
  • Experience with Teaching English as a Second Language (TESOL) or similar qualifications.
  • Familiarity with early childhood development and child-centered learning approaches.
  • Demonstrated success in fostering student engagement and academic achievement.
