The Opportunity:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality, engaging lessons that align with the British curriculum for Key Stage 1.
  • Foster a stimulating and inclusive classroom environment that promotes curiosity, creativity, and critical thinking.
  • Monitor and assess student progress regularly, providing targeted support and feedback to ensure academic success.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and contribute to the development of the school’s teaching and learning strategies.
  • Participate in the school’s professional development programme, including coaching and training with leading educational networks.
  • Engage with students, parents, and the wider school community to support student well-being and personal growth.
  • Utilize technology and innovative teaching methods to enhance learning outcomes.
  • Contribute to the planning and delivery of extra-curricular activities and school events.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • A B.Ed, PGCE, PGDE or equivalent in Primary teaching or similar.
  • Proven experience teaching the British curriculum at Key Stage 1.
  • Strong subject knowledge in primary education.
  • Experience working within a high-performing teaching team.
  • A track record of delivering outstanding teaching and learning.
  • At least 2 years of experience teaching the National Curriculum of England.

Preferred

  • Experience with evidence-informed teaching practices.
  • Familiarity with Cognitive Science-based educational approaches.
  • Leadership or mentoring experience within a school setting.
  • Experience with international curricula or cross-cultural environments.
