Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and effective KS2 lessons that align with the National Curriculum of England
- Foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment that encourages student growth and achievement
- Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and continuously improve teaching and learning
- Develop and implement assessment strategies that support student progress and achievement
- Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance your teaching practice
- Support the school's mission through active involvement in extra-curricular and pastoral activities
- Work closely with the Wellbeing Team to ensure student support and mental health are prioritized
- Maintain accurate records and report student progress to parents and senior leadership
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified teacher with a B.Ed, PGCE, PGDE or equivalent in Primary teaching
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience teaching the National Curriculum of England at KS2
- Strong subject knowledge in primary education
- Experience of working in a high-performing teaching team
- Proven record of delivering outstanding teaching and learning
- Commitment to evidence-informed practice and continuous professional development
Preferred
- Experience with cognitive science-based teaching methods
- Familiarity with instructional coaching and professional learning networks
- Experience in leading or contributing to extra-curricular activities
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Experience with British curriculum delivery in an international setting
