The Opportunity:

A school is seeking a motivated and qualified Early Years Practitioner to join its team on a casual basis. This role offers flexibility and the chance to make a meaningful impact in the lives of young learners through creative and collaborative teaching.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality early years education in a warm and supportive environment
  • Support the development of young children through play-based learning and structured activities
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure a consistent and nurturing approach to childcare
  • Maintain a safe, stimulating, and inclusive learning environment for all children
  • Keep accurate records of children’s progress and development
  • Participate in staff meetings, training, and professional development opportunities
  • Engage with parents and carers to support children’s learning and wellbeing
  • Follow the school’s policies and procedures, including health and safety guidelines

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified to Level 3 or above in an Early Years specialism
  • Commitment to achieving high standards in early years education
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work flexibly and independently as well as part of a team

Preferred

  • Experience working in a nursery or early years setting
  • Familiarity with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum
  • Experience with teaching English as a Second Language
  • Knowledge of international education standards and practices
