The Opportunity:
A school is seeking a motivated and qualified Early Years Practitioner to join its team on a casual basis. This role offers flexibility and the chance to make a meaningful impact in the lives of young learners through creative and collaborative teaching.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality early years education in a warm and supportive environment
- Support the development of young children through play-based learning and structured activities
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure a consistent and nurturing approach to childcare
- Maintain a safe, stimulating, and inclusive learning environment for all children
- Keep accurate records of children’s progress and development
- Participate in staff meetings, training, and professional development opportunities
- Engage with parents and carers to support children’s learning and wellbeing
- Follow the school’s policies and procedures, including health and safety guidelines
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified to Level 3 or above in an Early Years specialism
- Commitment to achieving high standards in early years education
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work flexibly and independently as well as part of a team
Preferred
- Experience working in a nursery or early years setting
- Familiarity with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum
- Experience with teaching English as a Second Language
- Knowledge of international education standards and practices
