The Opportunity:

As a Nursery Manager, you will lead and inspire a dedicated team while shaping the future of early years education. This role is ideal for someone passionate about child development and committed to delivering high-quality childcare in a nurturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and develop the day-to-day operations of the nursery.
  • Deliver and enhance the early years curriculum in line with EYFS statutory guidance.
  • Promote the values of the nursery to staff, parents, and children.
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with all staff members.
  • Support staff training and development to ensure continued professional growth.
  • Maintain accurate records and manage nursery occupancy effectively.
  • Ensure compliance with safeguarding and child protection policies.
  • Work closely with the Headteacher to support the strategic growth of the nursery.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Full and relevant Level 3 Childcare qualification in early years.
  • Recent experience working in a childcare setting.
  • Experience in a Senior EYP or deputy manager role.
  • Excellent knowledge of the EYFS statutory guidance.
  • Strong understanding of child protection and safeguarding procedures.
  • Proven ability to implement high-quality learning opportunities.

Preferred

  • Level 4, 5, or 6 qualification in early years.
  • Experience with the Inspired Learning Group.
  • Demonstrated leadership and team management skills.
  • Passion for child development and education.
