The Opportunity:

As a Remote Teacher, you will provide transformative 1-1 tuition to young people with SEND and SEMH needs. This is a chance to make a meaningful impact in the lives of vulnerable learners while enjoying a flexible and rewarding career.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality, trauma-informed Maths, English, or Science tuition to young people with SEND and SEMH needs
  • Plan and deliver flexible, student-centred lessons tailored to individual learning needs
  • Provide regular feedback and maintain detailed lesson reports on student progress
  • Support students referred by local authorities and schools through structured tutoring and mentoring
  • Collaborate with a dedicated SEND Support Team to ensure the best outcomes for students
  • Engage in continuous professional development opportunities
  • Maintain a safe and supportive learning environment aligned with safeguarding standards

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS / QTLS)
  • 2+ years of online teaching experience with SEND, SEMH, MLD, SLD, and/or PMLD learners
  • Familiarity teaching Maths, English, and/or Science online or remotely
  • Enhanced DBS clearance (or willingness to obtain)
  • 2+ professional references

Preferred

  • Experience in SENDCo, Intervention Specialist, or Learning Support roles
  • Knowledge of safeguarding and trauma-informed teaching practices
  • Background in therapeutic or educational support fields
