The Opportunity:

As an Early Years Practitioner, you will play a vital role in shaping the early development of children aged 3 months to 4 years. This is a part-time lunch cover position, offering flexibility and the chance to make a meaningful impact in a nurturing and supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the development of young children through a 'rhythm of the day' approach.
  • Create a warm, safe, and stimulating environment that encourages learning and exploration.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to deliver an enriched Early Learning curriculum.
  • Engage with children in a way that promotes emotional, social, and cognitive growth.
  • Maintain detailed records of children's progress and development.
  • Ensure the highest standards of health, safety, and well-being for all children in care.
  • Participate in staff training and development opportunities.
  • Communicate regularly with parents and carers to provide updates on children's learning and development.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Level 3 Early Years qualification.
  • Experience working with young children in an educational or care setting.
  • Enthusiasm, warmth, and the ability to work as part of a team.
  • A means of transport, as the school is not located on a public transport route.

Preferred

  • Experience in a nursery or early years setting with a focus on child development.
  • Knowledge of safeguarding and child protection practices.
  • Experience with the Inspired Education Group or similar educational institutions.
