Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging, play-based learning experiences tailored to the developmental needs of young children.
  • Create a safe, stimulating, and inclusive classroom environment that encourages exploration and learning.
  • Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and students to support the holistic development of each child.
  • Plan and implement creative, curriculum-focused activities aligned with the UK Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
  • Monitor and assess children's progress through a range of assessment methods and provide regular feedback to parents.
  • Participate in professional development and contribute to the continuous improvement of teaching practices.
  • Support the school’s values-based education approach, including spiritual and social-emotional learning.
  • Maintain strong communication with parents and carers to ensure a consistent and supportive learning experience.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Minimum qualification: QTS or PGCSE
  • At least 3 years of experience teaching within the Early Years Foundation Stage framework
  • Strong knowledge of the UK Early Years curriculum and assessment methods
  • Excellent classroom management skills with the ability to engage young learners effectively
  • Ability to plan creative, play-based learning activities tailored to individual needs

Preferred

  • Experience with Teaching English as a Second Language
  • Familiarity with international school environments and multicultural settings
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
