Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging, play-based learning experiences tailored to the developmental needs of young children.
- Create a safe, stimulating, and inclusive classroom environment that encourages exploration and learning.
- Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and students to support the holistic development of each child.
- Plan and implement creative, curriculum-focused activities aligned with the UK Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
- Monitor and assess children's progress through a range of assessment methods and provide regular feedback to parents.
- Participate in professional development and contribute to the continuous improvement of teaching practices.
- Support the school’s values-based education approach, including spiritual and social-emotional learning.
- Maintain strong communication with parents and carers to ensure a consistent and supportive learning experience.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Minimum qualification: QTS or PGCSE
- At least 3 years of experience teaching within the Early Years Foundation Stage framework
- Strong knowledge of the UK Early Years curriculum and assessment methods
- Excellent classroom management skills with the ability to engage young learners effectively
- Ability to plan creative, play-based learning activities tailored to individual needs
Preferred
- Experience with Teaching English as a Second Language
- Familiarity with international school environments and multicultural settings
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Commitment to continuous professional development and innovative teaching practices
