Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and developmentally appropriate early years education in a multilingual environment.
  • Create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom that supports the social, emotional, and academic growth of young learners.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to implement the school’s innovative pedagogical model and curriculum.
  • Incorporate technology and educational apps to enhance teaching and learning experiences.
  • Support the school’s mission of fostering independent thinkers, creative problem-solvers, and global citizens.
  • Participate in extracurricular activities, community projects, and cultural events.
  • Provide regular feedback to parents and maintain open communication about student progress.
  • Stay up-to-date with best practices in early years education and contribute to staff training and development.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Fluent in English and able to teach exclusively in English.
  • Qualified with a PGCE or Early Years QTS.
  • Experience in early years education and a commitment to child-centered learning.
  • Strong classroom management and organizational skills.
  • Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs of students.

Preferred

  • Experience in international schools or institutions with diverse curricula.
  • Familiarity with the International Baccalaureate (IB) or Montessori approach.
  • Knowledge of phonics and technology, especially with Apple devices and educational apps.
  • Proficiency in Catalan and/or Spanish.
  • Experience with bilingual or multilingual education environments.
