Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and developmentally appropriate early years education in a multilingual environment.
- Create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom that supports the social, emotional, and academic growth of young learners.
- Collaborate with colleagues to implement the school’s innovative pedagogical model and curriculum.
- Incorporate technology and educational apps to enhance teaching and learning experiences.
- Support the school’s mission of fostering independent thinkers, creative problem-solvers, and global citizens.
- Participate in extracurricular activities, community projects, and cultural events.
- Provide regular feedback to parents and maintain open communication about student progress.
- Stay up-to-date with best practices in early years education and contribute to staff training and development.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Fluent in English and able to teach exclusively in English.
- Qualified with a PGCE or Early Years QTS.
- Experience in early years education and a commitment to child-centered learning.
- Strong classroom management and organizational skills.
- Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs of students.
Preferred
- Experience in international schools or institutions with diverse curricula.
- Familiarity with the International Baccalaureate (IB) or Montessori approach.
- Knowledge of phonics and technology, especially with Apple devices and educational apps.
- Proficiency in Catalan and/or Spanish.
- Experience with bilingual or multilingual education environments.
