The Opportunity:

We are seeking a passionate and innovative Secondary Technology Teacher to join a forward-thinking institution. The teacher will play a key role in delivering a high-quality, future-focused education.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach technology to students aged 12–18 within the International Baccalaureate (IB) and national curriculum frameworks.
  • Develop and deliver engaging, technology-based lessons that encourage creativity and innovation.
  • Integrate modern ICT tools and educational apps into the classroom to enhance student learning.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and support a team-oriented, inclusive learning environment.
  • Support students of all abilities through differentiated instruction and individualized learning strategies.
  • Participate in extracurricular activities and school events that promote a well-rounded education.
  • Stay current with technological trends and continuously improve teaching methods.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of the school’s innovative pedagogical model.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Bachelor of Education / PGCE / Secondary QTS (BEd / SCITT / School Direct / Teach First) or equivalent.
  • Fluent in English and able to teach completely in authentic English.
  • Proven experience teaching technology at the secondary level.
  • Strong ICT skills, including experience with Mac, iPad, and educational apps.
  • Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the needs of diverse learners.

Preferred

  • Experience teaching within the International Baccalaureate (IB) and Bachillerato / ESO programs.
  • IB trained or prepared to undergo IB training.
  • Experience with UCAS or D of E programs.
  • Familiarity with the Spanish ESO / Bachillerato curriculum.
  • Knowledge of Catalan and/or Spanish.
