Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality teaching and learning experiences aligned with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)
  • Support and challenge each child to flourish academically, socially and emotionally
  • Collaborate with colleagues, parents and specialist staff to maintain a culture of excellence and care
  • Ensure the highest standards of safeguarding and pastoral care are upheld
  • Create and maintain a stimulating, safe and inclusive learning environment
  • Promote a 'can do' attitude and foster resilience in children through positive learning experiences
  • Encourage collaborative and inquisitive learning, supporting children to work together and learn from one another
  • Model and normalise the process of making mistakes as part of learning

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Significant experience within an Early Years setting
  • Excellent knowledge of the EYFS and child development
  • Strong communication and organisational skills
  • Commitment to safeguarding and pastoral care
  • Nurturing, confident and highly professional approach to teaching and learning

Preferred

  • Experience working in a collaborative and values-led environment
  • Background in promoting a culture of creativity, thinking and expression
  • Experience in supporting children to develop resilience and a 'can do' attitude
