Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging and high-quality Economics & Business lessons to sixth form students.
• Support students as a form tutor, providing academic and personal guidance.
• Collaborate with a friendly, forward-thinking department to develop innovative teaching strategies.
• Contribute to the continued growth and success of the sixth form.
• Participate in departmental meetings and professional development opportunities.
• Work closely with Senior Leadership to ensure the highest standards of teaching and learning.
• Encourage student achievement and engagement through active participation in extracurricular activities.
• Maintain up-to-date records and assess student progress effectively.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• Qualified teacher with relevant experience in Economics or Business Studies.
• Strong subject knowledge in Economics and Business.
• Experience teaching at sixth form level.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Commitment to student welfare and pastoral care.

Preferred

• Experience in leading or contributing to departmental initiatives.
• Familiarity with modern teaching techniques and technologies.
• Experience with form tutoring or student mentorship.
• Passion for inspiring and motivating students.
