Key Responsibilities:

• Administer emergency and first aid care to pupils, staff, and visitors as required.
• Deliver clinically skilled and holistic healthcare services to students.
• Triage and prioritise care based on the needs of the school community.
• Support the Health Centre team in providing efficient and effective healthcare services.
• Cover ad hoc shifts during the week, including home sports fixtures and Saturday sports events.
• Ensure compliance with the school’s child protection and safeguarding policies.
• Maintain high professional standards and contribute to the overall well-being of the school community.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• Valid nursing or healthcare professional qualification.
• Experience in providing first aid and emergency care in a school or healthcare setting.
• Strong understanding of child safeguarding and welfare practices.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and ad hoc shifts.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred

• Experience working in a school or educational setting.
• Knowledge of child protection policies and procedures.
• Experience with triaging and managing multiple cases simultaneously.
• Familiarity with the UK healthcare system and relevant legislation.
