Key Responsibilities:

• Teach Economics and Politics across Key Stages 3 to 5, including GCSE and A Level.
• Deliver engaging and challenging lessons that promote critical thinking and a love of learning.
• Support student progress through effective assessment, feedback, and individualized learning strategies.
• Contribute to the development of the school’s curriculum and extracurricular programs.
• Collaborate with colleagues to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
• Participate in staff development and professional growth opportunities.
• Maintain high standards of behavior and pastoral care within the classroom.
• Engage with parents and the wider school community to support student achievement.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Politics, or a related field.
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE).
• Proven experience teaching Economics and Politics at GCSE and A Level.
• Ability to teach across Key Stages 3 to 5, including IB and A Level.
• Minimum of 2 years post-qualification teaching experience.

Preferred

• Experience in a British curriculum school or international school setting.
• Strong record of academic achievement and student progress.
• Familiarity with the UK National Curriculum and IGCSE qualifications.
• Experience with extracurricular activities and pastoral care.
