The Opportunity:

As an Education Director for Junior Schools, you will lead the strategic development and quality assurance of junior school provision across multiple campuses. This role is pivotal in ensuring alignment with international best practices and fostering a culture of intellectual curiosity and academic excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and support quality assurance processes across junior school provision.
• Evaluate teaching, learning, safeguarding, and pastoral care to ensure alignment with international standards.
• Build strong relationships with school leaders to provide ongoing guidance on leadership, staffing, and school improvement.
• Contribute to appraisal, recruitment, and inspection readiness across the school network.
• Support the development of new schools through curriculum design, planning, and operational setup.
• Collaborate with senior leadership to maintain consistency and excellence across the group.
• Promote a culture of innovation, intellectual curiosity, and student-centered learning.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and best practices in education.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• Proven experience in educational leadership, preferably within international schools.
• Strong knowledge of quality assurance and school improvement processes.
• Experience in curriculum development and strategic planning.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively across cultures and contexts.
• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of young people.

Preferred

• Experience in leading teams within a multi-campus environment.
• Familiarity with international curricula such as the International Baccalaureate.
• Experience in school inspections and readiness processes.
• Demonstrated ability to support the development of new schools.
